MetroCast
MetroCast Digital Phone reaches 10,000 customers

MetroCast is proud to announce that as of February 2009 MetroCast Digital Phone service hit the 10,000 subscriber mark. MetroCast first launched its Digital Phone service in May of 2007 in New Hampshire with Maine following in January of 2008. With the service being just shy of 2 years old, MetroCast is incredibly pleased with the success of its Digital Phone service. “MetroCast has been very excited about the launch of Digital Phone. Providing a more comprehensive slate of services allows more choice to our market place. The success of MetroCast Digital Phone is due in part to the residents of New Hampshire and Maine and their need for more cost savings opportunity,” says Moira Campbell, New England Regional General Manager, “We {MetroCast} work for the people we serve and this is an amazing example to our efforts.”
 
When the service first launched, MetroCast slowly rolled Digital Phone out town by town to ensure the installations where smooth and to eliminate any and all service kinks that often come with a new product. Less than 2 years later, Digital Phone is available in all but a handful of MetroCast’s communities and the service has proven successful with more than 10,000 customers served.
